My name is Marian Gasinu, a UI/UX Designer passionate about crafting intuitive and engaging digital experiences that solve real-world problems. By understanding user needs, I translate insights into visually appealing and functional designs. My goal is to create products that not only look great but also deliver seamless, user-centered experiences.
Currently I am in the MS in Human-Computer Interaction and User Experience program at Drexel University. With a Bachelor’s in Political Science, I’ve successfully transitioned into design, bringing a fresh perspective to creating meaningful digital experiences. This switch has instilled in me adaptability and analytical thinking, skills I apply to make sure my work aligns with both user needs and business goals. I thrive in collaborative environments where I can share ideas, learn from others, and grow as a designer.
I believe great design is a balance of creativity, strategy, and empathy. My design process is rooted in user-centered principles
I’m proficient in Figma and experienced in user research, usability testing, prototyping, and tools like Framer. I also have foundational experience in web development (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript). My journey into design has led me to explore other creative and technical areas like 3D modeling with Blender and building websites.
Off screen, I enjoy playing video games(especially EAFC) and traveling. While I’m not a fan of long flights or drives, I love discovering new places, experiencing different cultures, and meeting new people.
I’m always open to new challenges and opportunities to grow.
